Closed for the Summer The PLP office is currently closed for the summer. If you need to contact the preschool office immediately, please call the church office at (623) 972-6785. You can call (623) 972-1076 to leave a message for the Preschool office staff. You can also email us at annette.johnson@peacelutheranaz.org. We will return to the office on August 4th. Tuition Payment Tuition will be due August 1, 2008. Please read the PLP summer newsletter for payment options. Tuition is considered late after August 5th. If your tuition is received after August 5th, you will need to pay a $25.00 late fee. Scroll down to see the Summer Newsletter. 2008/2009 Registration We currently are full in all our programs for the 08/09 school year. We have begun our waiting lists for all our programs. If you would like to be added to the waiting list, you can email us your student's name, birth date, parents' names, and telephone contact numbers. When we have an opening become available, we will begin calling students on the waiting list. When you are offered a spot in a classroom, we will then collect the $100.00 registration fee.
Changes for the 2008/2009 programs! This year we will be offering a T/Th program for 3 year olds. Class time will be 9:15 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. The cost will be $135.00/month. We will offer sack pack (our lunch program) on Tuesdays. The cost is $10.00/day. We will be offering MWF & M-F for our 4 year olds. Class time will be 9:15 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. The costs will be MWF: $160.00/month; M-F $275.00/month. We will offer sack pack on M, T, W, & F. The cost is $10.00/day. T/Th for 4 year olds will only be available if we do not fill the M-F program with 15 students. Space for the T/Th 4 year old program will not be available until August. If you would like a T/Th space for a 4 year old, you may place their name on a waiting list. Please be aware that T/Th for 4 year olds may not be available if we fill the M-F classroom. Our M-F 4 year old program will only be able to accommodate 15 students. This program will include a 5 day curriculum without repetition. The classroom will be set up utilizing centers for discovery, circle time for group activities, a different story, music, snack and projects each day. Parents will be required to provide snack twice a month. If you do not participate in the snack program, the snack fee for the 08/09 school year will be $20.00 Tuition late fees for the 08/09 school year will be $25.00/month. Tuition is due on the 1st of the month and considered late if received after the 5th of the month regardless of holidays or weekends.
Ink Jet Cartridges/Used cell phonesThe Preschool is collecting used ink jet cartridges and used cell phones. The collection container is located by the playground exit in the Education Building. We receive $1.00 to $2.00 for each cartridge or cell phone turned in. Help our school and our earth by donating your trash! Albertsons/Fry's: We are participating in programs with each of these grocery stores to earn money. Each store gives us a percentage of what you buy. When you use your VIP card at Fry's, give the cashier a copy of the bar code for our school and PLP will receive a percentage of what you purchased. You only need to give the cashier the bar code once and it will be attached to your VIP card for the school year. When the Albertsons cards are available, stop by the preschool office and we will give you a card. The cashier will scan the card along with your order and the preschool will then receive a percentage of your purchase. Albertsons: We now have the cards available. Stop by the church office or the preschool office to pick up a card. Fry's: Use bar code eScrip: We are also participating in eScrip. eScrip is a program where you register your credit cards on-line at www.escrip.com. Safeway participates in this program. When you visit the web site, sign up by using our group name and number listed below. Group Name: Peace Lutheran Preschool (located in Peoria, AZ) eScrip #: 9606608 Tote Bags/T-Shirts Tote bags and t-shirts are available for purchase. Tote bags are $7 and T-shirts are $10. T-shirts are available in blue, white, or pink.
